Newborn photography sessions are best suited for babies 21 days and newer, while baby is still very sleepy and womb-like. Because I limit the number of sessions I take each week to allow me to give everyone the best experience, I recommend securing your spot in my calendar as soon as possible, often in the second trimester after your 20-week sonogram. Your session is reserved in my calendar based on your due date, and the session date will be chosen once baby arrives safe and sound.

 

The newborn stage is such a beautiful time and passes far too quickly in a total blur. I remember holding my babes for hours, smelling the top of their head (why does it smell so good?!) and smothering them with kisses.  There is nothing as pure as your newborn babe, and it is my absolute honour to be able to capture their first portraits for you. Because I know that every aspect of the first few days can be overwhelming, I do my best to make the newborn session an easy and calming experience.

All props, accessories and details are taken care of so you can simply come, relax and allow me to work my magic with your newborn. I have had the honour of photographing more than 200 newborns, so your babe is in very good, supportive and welcoming hands.
